I used to live on Governors Island in a high rise on the 6th floor from '72 - '76, directly across from Lady Liberty, looking out the living room was like looking at a painting. Been up to the crown and torch many times.

My husband was 15 when he went up there, he'd won a prize through a Nation Wide competition over here, a trip to America, I think it was for two weeks, staying in the Waldorf-Astoria New York.

It was a trip for him and a friend, have a few photos here of them both at a few landmarks, even chatting up a couple of Bunny girls

I had the great chance to go to NYC back in 1999, and actually climbed lady liberty up to her crown, I can tell you it was a great view from up there!!!
