Been looking at JK tutorial, active command can be used. JK starts with list disk.
Partition - Mark as Active
As a warning:
If you do it this way ... it will do the whole disk, at least that's what I experienced.
list disk
select disk #
list partition
select partition #
clean all
Like I said, I'm going to set up another HDD so I can verify both methods in the next day or so, I'll keep you informed.

If you partition on HD, use delete partition, not clean all.

That doesn't do a secure erase though, right, just marks the space as empty; formatting doesn't remove the data either, right?
It's the secure erase methods I'm interested in. :)

You can only use clean all,if want to loose the partitions.
From what can see 3nd party app only for paititions.
