Today I thought I may buy Autodesk Maya (3D software)...but retracted after seeing the price tag. Its nearly 4200 USD (with VAT).

Who says Photoshop , Windows are expensive softwares?

Yikes! That is expensive, and certainly well out of the reach of many home users. These programs are typically aimed out the professionals, who need this sort of software to carry out their jobs. As such, they are often able to offset at least part of the cost against their expenses.

Right. They may offer a restricted low priced "personal use" copy.

@Carl: You cent percent right LOL

By the way, the worst possible thing I personally faced with IE9:

Microsoft Office Live Website for Small business Website online editor does not recognize it even as Internet Explorer! Its saying to download either IE8 or Mozilla Firefox. I had no Firefox installed. So downloaded and installed it.

IE9 is one of the dangerous Beta to me I have ever used

    Did you try compatibility mode?

That does sound strange, IE9 compatibility mode for a Microsoft site.

I've noticed IE9 is slow on MS sites and some of the pages are not very clear.

    Gotta like running beta software
