Might want to be careful ... There's always a chance at a slander response.
Might be better to keep it in official channels.
I would hope not as what I posted is truth... I will edit I guess though to take out any disrespectful text. Thanks Noyb.

My wife deals at Kay's she's telling me that you can return it in 30 days ...
    She thinks 30 days ??
After that, If you didn't get the extended warranty .. Your Outa luck.

You'll need to know (and prove) how old it was when you first complained.

She always gets the warranty .. and has never had a problem ..
other than their records .. But she keeps all copies.

If you take more than one in at a time .. They get confused easily...
and it may take several days to get them unconfused.
It was a custom setting, thus the higher price tag. The 30-day return policy is not available on custom settings. But we didn't want a refund or to return it. We wanted it fixed. We took it in to get them to replace the diamond and they wouldn't. We had it inspected on three different occasions, but they gave us no paperwork or even recorded it in the system I guess. So we kept persuing this and trying to get them to repair it.

I am still very upset about this and its not helping my anxiety.

Thanks Noyb and everyone else for your support. I am not meaning to rant or hijack this thread.

On Topic: Today I am still not happy with Kay's....

Thanks for the advice. I am in Indianapolis. I think I can get an app for my cell phone that records conversations, but I have never had to do this sort of thing. I wouldn't expect I would need to, but I definitely see your point in doing so.

    Thorsen,
    Just don't give up!
Pretty soon they will get it thru their thick heads that you are dead serious and determined to resolve this issue.
Might want to send a letter to corporate office expressing the lack of customer service at the local level and that you will do whatever it takes to get the ring fixed. IMO
Good luck and again......Don't give up!

+1 one on putting it in writing to the corporate office.

Thorsen, I hope you get this resolved soon. I just wanted to make sure you knew that you're not allowed to secretly record phone conversations in the states listed here. If you're only going to be calling in Indiana, you'll be fine, but if you end up having to call out-of-state to fix this, you should check that list. If you do end up in a legal battle, it won't look too good if your evidence was acquired illegally.

    Best of luck!

Today I tweaked windows 7 services using BlackViper's website and I can see some increase in performance. For example, my reboot time is reduced by 8-10 secs.
