    Let's see...what did I do today???

I woke up then went to a Supplier (Computers - hardware and software) Seminar. After coming home I found that the tree in the back yard decided to drop most of it leaves (Lots of cold weather the last few weeks) so the backyard and the eaves were full so I had to p/u them up and that took a few hours. Oh yeah...it's my also my birthday...What a way to spend a birthday (53 yrs young) picking up leaves and cutting the grass...LOLOLOL

M'Lady, they use DD/MM/YY or DD/MMM/YYYY as does much of the world including the US military. Makes sorting by date easy.
I did not know that! I do prefer and use the 24-hour time protocol, but like LPt, I am used to the month/day/year.
    Randy, we learn every day.

    My new Car...
Very nice, LPt; congratulations. My truck is 10 years old and Mae Lyne's is nine. I have no plans to replace either one anytime soon.
Carl thank you , my Cadi was 16 yrs old.. almost 100,000 miles on it.. I didn't want to be on the road late at night alone .. have any car trouble... I'll keep this one for at least that many miles unless , I give out before it reaches that many miles...lol
I wouldn't have bought now.. if hubby was still here.. the Cadi is still in great shape.. however that old and anything can go wrong at any moment.

I can understand that. You do need to know your vehicle is reliable and needs to be reliable for your safety.

This evening I took Mae Lyne to a beauty shop for a shampoo, a trim, and braiding. Her hair was past her butt and she wears it in braids most of the time. She had last washed and braided it on Tuesday a week ago before her surgery on Wednesday. Right now, she cannot quite reach to braid it or wash it properly. She had it trimmed to her waist. I can brush it for her; but I don't get the braids as tight as she wants them; so I treated her to a professional job.
