    Just Introducing Myself...

    Hello, SevenForums!

My name is Harvey and I've recently joined SevenForums. I've been lurking at SF for quite a while now, and I have to say that I really like the site. Not only is it stunningly beautiful to look at, but the quality of content is at its best. So, finally, I decided to join and get in on all the action!

I'm a student currently studying in the Intelligence Technology industry and would love to pursue a career as developer of some sort. Programming is a passion of mine, and if I can get paid to enjoy myself, then I will be a very happy man. Right now, I have experience in VB.Net, Java, and Delphi. I would like to get into web design, but my main goal is to master the Java language.

Since Java is a Windows-based platform, I decided I'd join SevenForums to further my understanding of the Windows infrastructure.

I've been a Windows Vista/7 user for the past few years, and think it's great. In my opinion, Vista is very underrated - it doesn't get the credit for what it can do. Everyone only seems to be concerned about what it can't do. I use Windows 7 at the moment, along with a few Linux distributions for penetration testing.

I hope to be able to provide support here and post quality material on a regular basis. I'm a forums freak and love nothing more than the educated discussion found here at SF.

Thank-you very much for taking the time to read my introduction!

    Thanks,
    Harvey Meale

Thank-you for the welcoming, severedsolo! Yes, I'm not entirely sure how the 'Skilled' status is attained, but it sure does look nice in my postbit! I look forward to getting to know you and everyone else very much.

Just FYI, the "Skilled" Status is obtained by Members giving you Rep. This means your posts have been deemed helpful :) When you reach a certain amount of rep you gain a shiny new badge, like the one you are sporting.

You can check who has repped you from the User CP

Very many thanks, severedsolo. Only, it says that I have to be registered for five days, which I am not.
