    You're welcome good sir,

This part here vr3x_RRJdd4 is all you need between the youtube tags.
I appreciate your good advise, derekimo. Worked like a charm in another thread.

I always say, you are never too old to learn something new.

The problem is at my age, i learn 1 thing new and then forget 2 things.

In England close male friends will often hug, especially if they haven't seen each other for a while or on parting. It's not usual to hug acquaintances or people you've just met.
Shaking hands seems to be dying out apart from formal meetings/introductions such as a new colleague or job interviews.
Actually , it's more usual for men to hug men than for men to hug women friends. This would be interpreted as a bit "touchy feely" or as an overture leading to intimacy.
    We're a funny lot really:)

I think society here in the USA has been the cause for MEN not hugging as easily ,
because of the social stigma they pushed on Men.. well meaning or not... it's hard to break
out of it.. however I'm seeing more MEN hugging... it's happening more and more the past years.. which is a very good thing. I agree, secure men DO hug other Men!!!
There's nothing like a hug.. nothing else can take it's place in our lives.

We all need to get and give hugs.. in fact it makes us better people.
Completely disagree. Hugging has nothing to do with how good a person you are.
People are different, some people are way to shy to go around hugging everyone.
We all show affection in different ways, I don't really like being hugged by people I don't know well, it makes me uncomfortable and it surely doesn't make me think that they are good persons.
I prefer getting a hug from my mom :)

Never really understood the hug thing. I mean with women, ok. That is much more natural. but two guys?
I mean when it's on a soccer field after a goal i get it, or when you get really happy about something.
It's just stupid to go around hugging every living thing. Do it like men, the handshake.

Where I live well adjusted [real] men can & do hug..

Not to mention that the whole 'free hug thing' was started by an Aussie...

I think well adjusted men can and do hug where ever. They can and do live all over.

I agree JW there is that whole handshake protocol thing going on. I dont think I have shaken a hand in years.
