over 300 for a warranty that most of the main components (motherboard, CPU, ram, video card, etc) already have when you build yourself. You don't get those nice 3 year or lifetime (most ram, and video cards depending on manufacturer) warranties when you buy a pre-built like that Alienware, all you get is the base 1 year warranty.
