    Check your RAM

If you keep getting BSODs or other error messages popping up, can I suggest that you test your RAM using the latest version of Memtest86+ available here Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Download the version here http://www.memtest.org/download/4.00...+-4.00.iso.zip, extract it and burn the image to a CD. To use, boot from the CD.

Like LCD and TFT monitors, which can suffer from dead/stuck pixels due to a transistor failure in the matrix, memory can suffer from the same effect resulting in one or more bits which are stuck at 0 or 1 and which cannot be changed. If a system process tries to access such a location, the result can be an error message popping up or, in extreme circumstances, a BSOD.

Don't forget Data Corruption can happen also.
