    Captain, my Captain,
(couldn't resist that). Anyway, I find the SF Diagnostic Tool to be excellent!!

To be investigated, is that a Seven Forums icon does not appear on my desktop.

By using Windows Explorer, and drilling down from C: to C:\users\karl\desktop I can locate the Seven Forums folder even with the user folders being relocated.

Now a clue as to probable cause of missing icon is: I've relocated my user folders, including the Desktop to the D: drive.

Since I knew that the folder had to exist, I drilled down to where the folder should be and the folder was there. Of course, I only did that after searching my visible desktop for a Seven Forums' folder.

I'm having trouble running this file as it's not a .exe file as described here. It's a .download file and i tried double-clicking and also running it from 'Run' but it's not recognized as an executable file. help please.

    Hello Progressia !!

What browser are you using to download ?? You could remove ".download" and change it to ".EXE" then try to run the file. Right click and the File > Rename then change it.

    Hope this helps,
    Captain

The size depends on how much info is stored on the system.
The event logs and the memory dump files can add up. after a while.

In short, 100 mB isn't all that large.
You can zip up the 100 mB file and then upload it to a free file hosting service (don't use RapidShare as some analysts can't use it for free) and post the link to it in your post.
