Hi

First post here and glad I found you all. Had this pc about 6 months BSOD gradually getting worse and it's guaranteed to crash daily now, sometimes more.

PB oneteone M3700
pentium t4300@ 2.10ghz
ram 3gb
64 bit
windows 7 home premium original

I've tried running the perfmon / report but it says invalid parameter.

I've attached dump files as per instructions, is there anything that stands out?

Is that how you actually typed it into command prompt? If so it needs to be "perfmon /report". If you can't tell the difference, just copy and paste it into command prompt. Also, you can try using an elevated command prompt if you have not done so already.

Another thing I've noticed is that after a crash i have to log into all my saved sites again.

0x124 is usually a hardware error, but software is still possible,

Your JMicron card reader drivers were blamed. Try installing the ones attached to this post. I attached them to save you the trouble of digging through the driver page.

Remove Norton with this tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

Replace with MSE: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

If that doesn't work, do these hardware tests.

No overclocking.

Tried the card reader stuff, it says no device dound.

Norton can be reinstalled. Sometimes AVs cause BSOD. MSE however, likely because it is Microsoft software, in known for almost never causing a BSOD. Actually, I've never head of a case of MSE causing one. If you get another one after replacing the drivers, remove Norton for debugging purposes. If it turns out to be the cause, Norton may be willing to give you a partial refund.

coling, troubleshooting a 124 error code is a process of elimination. You want to eliminate every know cause of crashes. Norton is well known to cause crashes on some Win 7 systems. Uninstall it using the removal tool while you troubleshoot. You can always reinstall it when you have your system running smoothly. Follow Jonathan's advice. He knows his stuff.

I can't find anything in terms of the computer you claim to have. Could you tell me exactly what computer you have. Manufacturer, model number(s), service tags, etc. Don't post the serial number though.

It's packard bell M3700. There is a pw (huge) number which I can't read right now as I'd have to unhook everything and turn it upside down. The wife is next to me snoring away and i daren't wake her!!!

I've uninstalled Norton (it crashed on reboot) and installed WSE
