I often put my computer in Hibernate mode. But when I hit the power button to wakeup, it will sometimes go to a “black screen with white cursor in top left corner” instead of Windows 7 signon (about once every 2 weeks for the last 5 months).

I have to re-Hibernate with the power button, and then hit power button again for the normal wakeup signon screen. It happened today 6/20/11 and here is the dump zip.

I am running Windows 7 Home Edition x64. Windows came pre-installed and the computer is only 8 months old. Dump files are attached. thanks

These were virtually identical and Related to PdaNet Broadband Adapter Drive from June Fabrics Technology Inc. Yours is a year old. I would re-install with newest

Hi zigzag, the PdaNet new driver was installed and resolved my other threads issue around 6/9/11.

This 6/20/11 issue is different and even existed before PdaNet was installed!

So, do these attached bsod logs show anything for 6/20/11 for wakeup to a “black screen with white cursor in top left corner” instead of Windows 7 signon?
Or doesn't this scenario log any bsod errors? Let me know if there's something else to check...
