Windows Logon Screen Picture
This has probably been asked, but I couldn't find it...
Is there any code available or a way to remove the logon picture or icon on the logon screen?
So, only the password would show?

You could use the Tweaks.com Logon Wallpaper Changer to change the background, but I have never seen an option to remove the user account photo.
Log On Screen - Change
Yea, I changed that, and thats a registry tweak, no programs needed. :)
I just don't like how big it is.
I think the closest you'll get is the "Do Not Display Last User Name" tweak. No login picture but the picture frame will still be there. You'll have to type in your user name every time too. I know in XP I always turned off the welcome screen and went with the windows 2000 style login box. It's too bad you can't do that in 7 too.
Have you tried Stardock Logon Studio?
Not sure it has all the features you want but it's worth a look!

Dont use the gpedit method, didn't work for me.
Open up start menu then type in the search secpol.msc and press enter. Expand local policies and under security options enable Interactive Logon: Do not display last user name. Then close it and log out. Voila!
Source: Log On with User Name and Password
p.s. I tried it and it works!

If you want to keep your password, setting windows to auto-logon will bypass the welcome screen too. Run control userpassswords2 and remove the check mark for "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". You will be prompted for the user account and password to be used when you click apply or OK.
