Thank you. But I'm using it now. I used Photofiltre to reduce the size of the W7 logo ball, then copied and pasted into the fractal swirl I did. It looks pretty good. The colors you used match nicely with the swirl colors. Since both images have plenty of black area the fact it's pasted is hardly detectable.

I hate to tell ya but I can see the black square around the orb you "pasted" on your wallpaper in your screen shot, what I suggest you do is get paint.net which is free and learn how to use that, then you can just add layers onto your wall and sorta "merge" your image into the wallpaper of your choice...just a freindly suggestion

    I like it. :)

edit: I've done layers in the past. But Paint.Net has to be the easiest I've tried. A couple of clicks.

edit2: If you give the ok I'll put this up for download with credit in a readme in the zip for the orb work. If not just say so and I'll delete the image here.

edit3: been messing with StartOrbz and your W7 orb makes an excellent start orb.

Here's my desktop with the start orb:

Here's one a bit better. Used a larger logo and did a circular crop before pasting.
Goes well with the small logo as start orb. :)

ok but what I am trying to show you is that cutting and pasting is not working, I can still see the "cutting" job and it isn't merging in with your wallpaper....I am not making your wallpapers to show off or say I'm better than you, what I am trying to do is show you the "proper" way of photo editing...I have learned from Arc and poohman and take thier advice and tricks and try to use them and utalize them! as example I made a slightly diff variation of your wall...see how it all flows together? yiou cannot see that I have copy and pasted the win logo but rather use layering and other tricks to make it all flow together

edit: I would suggest you download and learn to use paint.net or gimp! they are freeeeee and very powerful tools! also goto youtube and check out some tutorial vids, it can teach you about layers and merging and blending images and whole bunch of stuff!

Maybe you can tell me how to get a circular crop in Paint.Net? In Photofiltre I can put in the numbers so it comes out exact. But if I save to a file then it has a white area for the remainder of the rectangle.

Paint.Net I cannot figure how to get ellipse selection to go where I want.
