    gadget to monitor drive,dvd, LAN

Does anyone know of a gadget to monitor hard disk, DVD and LAN access? Or can someone create one?

I don't know what the people at dell were thinking, but the Studio 15 Laptop that I just bought does not have indicators for hard disk, DVD drive, or LAN activity.

I found one disk monitor on Windows Live Gadgets, but it does not work on the DVD drive

    Thanks
    Tony

That is actually an interesting gadget. But it only shows information not activity. Plus it doesn't seem to work well in windows 7.

True that it is not free, but $50-$99 is out of what I can afford

Google search for Free Storage Monitor while I search. Four eyes are better than 2.
