i think that way u customize the bar background.meaning every time u change wallpaper u have to do that.
im definitely not trying that.since i always change my wall.
if u just stick to one for a long time maybe u might want to try that.

    Still looking for blurlessness

I found this thread and it is hard to believe it is one of the only mentions of this on the entire web. Did anyone ever find an answer? My desktop really could use it.

Has anyone ever found a way to remove the blurring effect on the task bar? I've found numerous sites to remove the blur from the frames of the windows, but not a single solution to do the same for the taskbar. I've only been able to find themes that remove the "lines" in the transparency but not the blurriness. Is it simply impossible without paying for 3rd party applications? It seems like it should be such a simple task but every website I've searched has always lead to no answers, the closest I've found is this at deviant art, but even when using this and some transparent png and gif, it still is blurry. What gives? I have no idea, if anyone has done this successfully without windowblinds or something please let me know, it'd be greatly appreciated. I want to be able to see through the bar and read text behind it.

Welcome to Seven Forums . I haven't tried it myself, but see if this thread helps. Suggest you make at least a registry backup if you are going to try it.

Thanks so much, A Guy! Already tried the solutions in the current threads. I will search the web and see if anything else comes up. I changed the registry as is suggested in the link but it does not help with the blur. I am using a style without a bar and all that is left is the blur. If I could get that gone....

    Actually, this may be it

Taskbar Blur Toggle 0.2.0 by DBlake1 on deviantART

The zip contains links to downloads. The OneDrive download is the one I used. It's his application, so I'm not posting any direct download links, since he chose to do it this way. No big deal.

Hey, i just want to make it clear. You want to remove the blur effect on it, does it mean that the start menu Orb will be the only thing visible?

The start menu orb and any pinned icons and system menu, time and date. It is just the edge of the bar and the blur that is gone. Works well for my desktop design.

Aw, i know a program that will remove the blur effect on the taskbar and retain the start menu orb, but im not sure about the pinned items on it. Did you already tried this one? Im using this already for years and it works fine. Take a look with my desktop designs in my album.
