How do you make a Window title bar opaque?

First, Windows Help sucks. I searched this forum for "title bar opaque" and got hundreds of posts, none of which address my question.

I don't like the semitransparent title bar as icons don't show up well on it. I want it opaque, preferably solid white, so I can see my icons. Does anyone know how to do this. Oh, yeah...I'm using Win 7.

Right Click on Desktop > Personalize > Select "Windows 7 Basic"

I think this is what you are after, if it's not play around in the menus till you get what you want

Hello Cracker, and welcome to Seven Forums.

In addition, you could set your Windows Color and Appearance settings like below to have an almost white border.

    Hope this helps,
