Windows 7: How to change boot animation in Windows 7

Windows 7 Pro 64 / 7 Pro 64 / 7 Home Prem 64

Great work! Especially I had been looking for the offset and compressed / uncompressed sizes. This is great!

As I have said multiple time, some computers just don't work. I haven't been able to figure out why. It usually isn't due to the specific boot skin but due to something in the computer setup. All I can say is try another computer.

I think the best way for you is to head over here; Coder for Life - Project - Windows 7 Boot Updater

Manual modification can be tricky, and since you don't seem to know about checksums and certificates, you should probably go for the easiest way.

This program is not needed! I will seek a solution in other forums!

The program is not needed, you are right. No program is ever needed. However the program handles so many little things for you, and it includes knowledge about 8 different versions of the modified files, including 32 and 64 bit, RTM and SP1 along with random Windows Updates. It does some things not even listed in this guide. In fact, as the author of the program, I have never modified all the files by hand.

The checksum on some files can be updated with another program of mine: PEChecksum. That is something you never want to do by hand, it would require adding up every byte in the program along with a whole bunch of bit-xorring.

Also, there is no need to sign anything. The signatures do nothing since you cannot sign with one of the 5 keys it cares about.
