XWindows dock is a docking program, though not such widely used . I have tried it once , but it is not that user friendly . If you really want to apply a dock, the best way is to use ObjectDock freeware , which supports the largest customization scope .

The second option is RocketDock . That is also widely used, but a little bit difficult to customize that Objectdock.

If you plan to use any of the docks, I can guide you how to customize it , at your will . Sorry that I have no much experience with XWD

The automatic third choice is RK-Launcher .

also does it shows the correct indicators or programs that are open? if u use it can u post ss with indicator with diff color then black :/ b/c mine rocketdock does that right now! only shows black indecator even through real skin supose to have pink or red indicator...

also can u have object dock minimize the open windows on that insted of taskbar?

and yes guide would be gr8!
