Is there anyone here who knows where I can download the complete set of default Windows 7 icons please ? I have changed all mine and I have not backed up the original so I cannot restore them...same applied with the start button.
I know that this is pushing it however is there anyone here who has a simple script that will restore my icons back to their default ones please?

As well as the tutorial Richc has given you this one will restore your default start button;
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
What icons did you change? did you use a theme pack? Actually running the sfc/ scannow will restore all your icons, if changed in system files, to default. Any software program icons you have changed will have to be done manually. Then do the icon cache re-build, it doesn't change your icons, it just clears the "last remembered" from memory.
