Adding system folders to context menu - please help!

    Hi everyone,

Its my first time to SevenForums so please forgive the noob. I'd be really grateful if somebody could help me with my query.

I would like the option to have shortcuts to Computer, Control Panel, Recycle Bin, Desktop and my own folder on the context menu. I already know how to add new program options to the desktop context menu through RegEdit. However, try as I might, I cannot do the same with system folder shortcuts.

Any help would be really appreciated, as its beginning to drive me mad. I've already tried programs like SmartClick and YourMenu and they've been of no help.

    Thanks a bundle guys!

Thank you richc46! But unfortunately I already know those methods but still can't seem to get system folder shortcuts (i.e. .lnk shortcuts) to appear on my context menu.

If anyone has a solution please let me know. Thank you!

Hello The Dreamer, and welcome to Seven Forums.

I'm currently getting ready to post a tutorial for each one of these here in a bit. I'll post back with links to them when I'm finished. :)

When you deal with Brink, you are dealing with the best. Just wait until you see the great tut that he prepares for you. I learned something new from one of them, just last night.

    Richc46, I see you're absolutely right.

Brink, thank you SO much. Its tremendously appreciated. By all means, post the Desktop one whenever you feel comfortable and free enough to do so. The fact that you've finished the others is downright amazing. Many thanks!

It seems that I can't find one for a universal Desktop folder no matter the logged in user.
