    Desktop backgrounds


    This is when I go to customize my background. Looking at the choices from the drop-down box, I have 2 that are listed as: Windows Desktop Backgrounds.

    Can anyone tell me why this is? Also, is it possible (probably though the registry) to remove 1 of them?

    Hello CJW,

    I'm not sure how you got two instances of the same folder in the list, but you may be able to remove one of them using one of the options in the tutorial below.

    Desktop Background - Remove Picture Location History

I like the "desktop themes" photo I can get on line for windows 7. But don't want the Icons and extras that go with it. Ever since today, when i tried to edit my desktop backgrounds all my folders showed up under picture library, but now only a few show up. And in some of the folders which do show up, not all the pictures are in them. Thanks for your help :)
