Why does the documents folder look like this??

    Why does the documents folder look like this??


    Help i did something (i cant remember) but my documents folder looks like (first attachment) now and my other folders look (second attachment) this.. Help

    Might be as simple as the folder settings pointed to by the arrows. Let us know if that isnt it

    yap that's just the configuration on your view..you can view by thumbnails,tiles,icons,list, and details.

    Nah its not the folder size its something else i cant find out how i did it

    folder properties
    view
    you ticked " show all files with kown extensions" & "show all files"

    right-click in the pane > Group by > (None)
    That will make Documents look like it does in Music.

    right click in the folder you want changed and select properties. Then set "optimize this library for" to music.

Q1. When I look at the folders in C:\Users\User-Name , I can see a folder. I double click on and the location now is C:\Users\User-Name\Documents , why is the folder name different from the exact folder location? (I notice all other folders that have the word "My" has the same situation) Q2....

Hi,I have a desktop & Laptop both running windows 7.Now the desktop when I open my documents from the start method I have a folder in there ''Pictures''If I open this up its my pictures all's fine. Now on the laptop I open my documents in the same way but there is no ''picture'' folder there. So...
