    Title bar text colour

    How do I change the title bar text colour?

    I can change all the other font colours in Advanced Appearance Settings, but not for a maximized box (only for non-maximized).

    Am I missing something obvious? I've got a blue colour scheme and would like to change the title bar text to white.

    As I said, it's only maximized boxes which I can't alter.

    Hello Charles,

    Are you referring to the Windows Basic or Classic theme?

    I'm using an adapted Windows Aero theme (transparency off, window fonts changed to Trebuchet MS).

    I've been experimenting with the colors in the registry, but have not come up with a complete solution yet.

    Could you provide a screenshot so I know exactly what to look for.

    On Vista, you can create your own bitmap fro Windows Explorer (also Windows Mail (Vista and Windows 7) which appears in the File, Edit, View, etc

    This setting should be within variant>normal in the .msstyle file and it'll be in hex. Use the vista guides as a start;

    Thanks, I'll take a look.

    It does like like an oversight by Microsoft to permit changes for all windows apart from maximized ones.

    I'm editing aero.msstyles. There are some sesources such as png and one part of this in hex wich is responsible for colours and etc. For vista is tutorial on ukintel.deviantart.com or sth like that. I haven't found any tutorial for win 7 on any site (google).
