    lorddenis pal I think we should try and figure out why your Stardock installation is crashing. This way you will be able to try out your creations so you can see the results before hand.
    What errors are you getting ?

    Object Dock leaves behind a lot of folders when you uninstall it so would suggest a clean up before re installing, have a look in these locations you will have to have show hidden folders ticked in folder options;

    Libraries\Documents

    C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local

    C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming

    C:\Program Files

    C:\Program Files\Common Files

    C:\ProgramData

    The one in Program Data has an odd name i have gone back to version 1.9 so i cant refer to it but it is a compressed folder (blue font)

    before you posted that i instaled it. it works fine now.. but haven tried that weather icon. and i think as long i dont use it it will be ok...

    how can i use that what i made into the dock ? or do i need the whole version ?

    Cool, i did find with the new build i was getting CPU spikes during configuring but once it was set up it was ok

    You better to get an answer from one of the other guys as to what is needed to use you backgrounds

    BTW the weather gadgets & such like do consume a lot of resources & need a good internet speed, i would say that it was probably why you had problems to start

    Nice info there , Darryl ! If I uninstall it using Revo with Advanced Mode (that delete all the feftover registry entries, files and folders ) , is it ok ?

    Lorddenis, I also do not use the weather docklet . Just drag it out of the dock, and it will be deleted .

    Go to the folder C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Dock\Background .... there are the background folders . All of them contains a configuration file . Make one for you (or edit an existing one) . At that step it needs to be applied, coz you are to adjust the top.. bottom ... left ... right etc info . Then as your folder is placed at that location, you can apply it using configure dock docklet

    It should be ok Arc i don't use Revo that often but i find Revo leaves behind User files so it would pay to have a quick scan through those locations afterward.

    If it is Object Dock 1.9 you are uninstalling skip Roaming & Program Data folders, dont forget to back up any backgrounds or Icons that you added :)
