    Active Desktop in Windows 7

I was not happy that Microsoft removed Active Desktop which had been one of my favorites since Windows 95 with the release of Vista. I know it is considered a security risk, but I don't care. I want IE embedded in my desktop again! I had so much fun writing JavaScript to fun things with my desktop like make an animated Desktop by dynamically modifying the HTML. Also, embedding Flash content was cool too. In XP I embedded RuneScape into my desktop and was playing it. Shockingly, this got better performance on the game than running it in any of the browsers did . Anyway, is there anyway I can get this feature into Windows 7 x64? I really miss it.

No. I want to set HTML files as backgrounds like you could in XP. Something tells me this is going to require some modification / patching to system files.
