Picture is not very helpful. can you tell us if sidebar.exe is running in task manager?

(task mananger= right click task bar.........)

Ok I am vague on the exact problem. Are all the gadgets not working< or just one? what is it doing or not doing? Deos it do it when you boot into wsafe mode (F8)?

Have you run system file checker ? Also have you tried turning Gadget OFF, Re-Booting, then turing them back on.

to ken: i tried in safe mode, it said " desktop gadgets are not available in the safe mode"

this problem starts exist when i had installed uniblue powersuit, and i run the registry booster
