Are they all empty ? How a non-empty icon looks there with medium icon or large icon view ?

I mean at this condition :

Some of them are emty, and some not.
In this image i have a folder with a lot of subfolders and files, inside.

This picture says that you have disabled thumbnails . In this situation, you need not to customize imageres file to change folder icons .... the tutorial link I posted in post #9 of the previous page is enough to customize folder icons where thumbnail is disabled .

Hi, i recently installed a 3rd party themes and i got a problem when i uninstalled it.The themes change the icon and now the icon is corrupted (split).Anyone have the original imageres.dll so that i can change them into default?(I got no repair disc so now repair install for me).Im using Windows 7...

When I right click on the file and select properites I do not see an Icon Tab to view the icons. Is there something that has to be done to view the available icons? Thanks.

In the System 32 folder is a imageres.dll file. If I remember correctly, and I reserve the right to be 100% wrong here, there are .bmps in the file for desktops during the boot/shutdown procedures. I also think there is/was a program that be used to open and edit these files. Does anybody know...
