    Help installing custom themes/taskbar!

Hello i am new to these forums and i apologize if there is a tutorial or thread on this site about this problem, but i couldn't find it.

Personally i have not had much experience with windows 7, however just deciding to give it another chance i set out to install a custom theme.

http://dvkndn.deviantart.com/art/Col...sion-169171283 - Is the theme that i am trying to use, i have used the universal patcher and patched the dll files required, the theme works however the taskbar does not change (which is the main reason i want a new theme - hate).

After afew google searches a could not find a useful tutorial on how to do this properly, i also went to the extent of downloading a registry editor (ResHacker) but have no idea how to make sense of it.

If anyone has any great tutorials explaining how to properly apply the taskbar in the custom themes or even better have the time to give me a quick simple run down i would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Frenz.

Taskbar Start button and icons dont change automatically with a theme . you are to apply those manually .

For changing starrt button, the easiest way is Windows 7 Start Button Changer by =Kishan-Bagaria on deviantART .

For changing taskbar icons place the icon o desktop first, right click > customize > change icon > browse (to your custom icon) > ok> apply > ok .

You are welcome mate . As for as I know, there is no way to load the icons in taskbar automatically, coz they comes from different programs .
