You may have to take ownership of both the original (and DO make a copy of the original before you change anything), and your new file. A Guy

    I think it's a 30-day trial
Here's how to change owner of that file

A good way to check if you need to take ownership is if there is the LUA shield (blue and yellow icon) next to rename and delete in your context menu, if it is, then yes, you need to take ownership.

You should be OK with your 30 day trial of Restorator. As well as selecting the import (assign) function in Restorator you can also just Drag 'n' Drop your new image onto the current image. Just make sure you pick the right number!!

I've made an Amber Aero theme before and I thought I'd lost it.
Anyway, I hadn't, I've depersonalized it, i.e. changed to standard cursors, standard desktop wallpaper etc. I've stuck it up at this link. Have a play, throw it away, use it if you want. Its basically Aero.theme with orange highlighters. I may have changed the progress bar colours as well, I can't honestly remember what colour they're supposed to be 'cos I've been through the rainbow with those!

ok well i took ownership of both files and such, but it just doesnt want to work. I copied the file and then tried pasting it, but then when i got the the folder it said there was nothing on the clipboard. Then i tried putting the file in there and changing the name but it just renamed it aero (2).

I know there is just something that im not figuring out because it should work. I did everything with the task manager correctly I just am having trouble with replacing the file that i edited with the new one because it tells me that it is open in another program if i try to delete if after placing in the edited file.
