Problem with the "Slideshow" option for the background
Hi, I've had Win7 for a little while now and I've finally gotten tired of changing my background from a static picture to the slideshow that I had it set for. It seems to change to a static picture when I'm running Win7 and it's not like it resets when i turn off the computer or anything. I was just wondering if there was anyway to stop it from reverting back to the static pictures. Any help would be amazing. Thanks ahead of time :)

When you choose the multiple pictures for your slideshow, save the theme. That should solve your problem, unless there is some sort of deeper problem.

Well, that's why it confuses me. I save it and it still reverts back to the single picture. It might work with the slideshow for awhile but then it changes back on it's own. I don't reset the computer or anything.

Does the same thing happen if you use one of the preinstalled themes that use slideshow? or is it just with themes you customize yourself?

look at this site, it says that there is a pause function in the power options, perhaps it is paused on yours? wouldn't hurt to look. Anyway here it is Slideshow desktop background setting hidden deep inside advanced power settings - Windows 7 Taskforce
