Download and Install Original System Icons?

    Hello all,

I acquired a computer running Windows 7 Ultimate that has a very peculiar oddity about it: various system files have been altered to give it a likeness to Mac OS X. This is beyond a simple theme modification, as the logon screen background and all system icons have been modified. I'm wondering if there is some way for me to revert to all original system icons -- none of which are on my computer any longer -- through an easy-to-use installer or something of the like.

    Help?

Hmm. The first suggestion didn't work because these OS X system icons are somehow now the system defaults, i.e. the original icons, I believe, no longer exist on the system. The second suggestion kept running into an error, even after repeated tries per the tutorial's suggestion.

Any other ideas? Is there an icon installer capable of completely replacing all icons with a given package?

As the default icons are no longer there in your system, you are place those back . There is no other alternatives .Haw have you done that modification ? I guess you are able to replace with the original icons , if you have those .

These are extracted from my system System Icons.rar . Have a try .

If you cannot do it successfully, let us know . There may be another alternative of replacing the system files itself . In this case, let us know what are the system files you have modded previously , we will supply you those files .

Edit : I guess you know how to put icons in system files . If no, have a look below
