How to turn ON pc when they are off

I work for a University in Texas and my boss told me to research if there could be a way to turn ON the computers automatically when they are off. I been searching and found the following:

    1. SysAid (but will only work if your PC has VPro Chip) and not all of our pc have it.
    2. Scheduling hybernation and wake up on task Scheduler would be the way to go, but having 450 to do it manually, no thanks.
    3. What else?

We currently use deep freeze to manage our computers (maintenance, shutdown, user profiles, etc) but it is limited to what we need.

What do you guys recommend? Is there an less complex way to achieve this goal?

Have a look in the BIOS, some PCs have this feature.

Some ethernet cards have the ability to turn on the computer from a signal from the network.

I have been using this option for starting my office PC automatically but my new VAIO doesn't have this feature in BIOS.
