New user account not appearing on login screen

I have added a new user account to my computer, but for some reason it is not appearing on the logon screen. Help?

    Hello Kbronski,

You might also double check to make sure that you do not have Windows 7 set to log on automatically to a user account at startup.

    Log On Automatically at Startup

    Hope this helps,

No. It does not appear while attempting to switch user, log off/log on, or reboot.

Unfortunately, that does not help. Thanks for the try though.
Could my fingerprint scanner have anything to do with it?

    Welcome Kabronski.

"Could my fingerprint scanner have anything to do with it? "

That is a definate possibility, do you at present use the fingerprint scanner to logon?
If so then you will need to add the new account to the fingerprint scanner logon configuration.

Yes, I am using the fingerprint scanner to log on.
How would I go about doing adding a new account to it? I am using Digital Persona for the fingerprint software, and all I am seeing on here for managing accounts/passwords is for websites.
