    Is this theme only available with patched system files or without?
    I have bad times with patching files: Vista Aero and Win7 Aero crashed and I only had the Classic-theme left

    Logically, you would not need to patch the files in order to use the theme. I'm not quite sure as I've never used Aero (compiz geek here), but you ought to be able to.

    Since we're talking about transparency here, I might as well do some semi-warranted self promotion. I wrote a program a while back to do some basic transparency effects on windows. Check it out here.
