    Pin logo to start menu

We hope to be able to create a customized start menu for our company. We'd like to be able to pin a company logo to the top of the Start Menu. Is that possible?

Sure. Sorry for the late reply but you can click on the orb -> then click on the current user picture -> then the user accounts windows will pop up -> click on 'change your picture' -> then at the bottom click 'browse for more pictures...' -> then find your company logo picture on your computer.

I've put my beloved red sox logo on mine:

Hello Jpineau, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You can use the method Mike posted above to manually change them in the Start Menu.

If you wanted to have a default one at the Log on screen, then this tutorial below will show you how to. However, it leaves the picture in the Start Menu blank using this method instead.

    Hope this helps,

Sure is. Mine is a pic of my cat. If you search sevenforums (maybe in tutorials) there is a step by step guide

    Thanks for the replies.

Actually I was hoping to place the company logo at the top of the left hand pane of the Start Menu, not the right hand pane where the user pic is. However, it wouldn't be a bad idea to place it at the top of the right side I personally never really liked different pics for different users.

I do like the idea of a generic pic at the login screen but not if it means we'll see a blank square at the top of the start menu. Almost hard to believe they haven't resolved that problem if it has been around since Vista hit the market.

Same issue - now different problem - can that box containing the user pic be resized at all? If not, does anyone know the dimensions?

    Thanks again, JP

Maybe this should be moved to Customization and will get more action ...
