    Details view everywhere

I have read many posts concerning details views in folders. Here is my question, which I'll accept a simple "no" on if absolutely necessary:

When I open any folder, anywhere, any save or open dialog box, any search, anyplace where more than one document is listed, I want ALWAYS to see it in Details View. Is This Possible?

Hello Fibbermcghee, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you use General Items as the default folder template with the tutorial below, then this will set all folders in Windows Explorer to have "Details" view. :)

Folder View - Set a Default for All Folders

    Hope this helps,

Thank you, Shawn. I saw this tutorial and the Note below it expressly leaves out Open and Save dialog boxes. If this means that the answer to my question is "No", then I'm not surprised, it's still Windows. Thank you very much for your reply.

Well, not "no" completely. It solves half of your question for Windows Explorer.

I'm not aware of a way to set it for the Open and Save dialog boxes.
