Desktop Notifications using Event Viewer or Task Scheduler

I'm running windows 7 professional 64 bit
I've installed some desktop gadgets. Facebook and twitter and a few others. I want to receive desktop notifications from them. I want to know is there a way to do this using the task scheduler or the Event viewer?

No, with the built in task scheduler, I don't think this is possible with task scheduler or event viewer.

If those gadgets are presently logging events in the event viewer, then yes you can attach a task to it.
