Align To Grid

Hi all,

Is the "align to grid" option not available in Windows 7?

I liked to customize folder positions inside a particular folder. But now, the ways seem to be fixed.

Observable far as I could, "align the grid" is only available on the desktop...

Yes, I think you are right. I guess this feature was turned off for a reason.

I'm running Win 7 Pro 64 bit. I always uncheck 'Align icons to grid' under View (on Desktop). Yet every time I reboot it's checked again. Can someone tell me how to keep it from being checked (activated) when I reboot? Thank you.
