Remove shadow Icon Boxes

    Look at this thread and use the Focus Rectangle Remover Remove the "Focus Rectangle" from Icons

    It's not the focus rectangle. That creates a rectangle only if you move your cursor over the icon. This grey rectangle is there all the time; and I clicked the Desktop before I took the Screen shot., so it's not related to my cursor.

    Try Option 2 of this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair corrupt system files.
