desktop background cant changed from stretch mode

    desktop background cant changed from stretch mode


    i cant change my desktop background picture position from stretch to any other mode if i go to personalization and then to desktop background as i change picture position to tile and as i press ok it return back to stretch mode again... hope this problem can be sorted out

    Various HP computers' are affected by this.

    Your HP support page is: Software & Driver Downloads HP Pavilion dv4-1506tx Entertainment Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

    Choose the 32 bit or 64 bit version of Windows 7, depending on which you have. Then click open the Software solutions bit and download the "Wallpaper Picture Position Enabler"

    That'd depend upon the pixel height-width of the image you're tiling and your computer's screen resolution.

    Thank you! Your directions helped me fix a problem I've had going on for 3+ years. Trying to set background photos always drove me crazy because they would always stretch and look bad.

    I did the fix you put on here and now I can see the pics I want, in "non-stretched" versions. Yay!
