    Desktop Icon Selection?

When I select multiple items using shift or control key i get this:

When I deselect everything i get this:

This is how normal selected icon looks like(compare the first and this one):

When I have slideshow backgrounds I can't get rid of these small little dots around the icon(otherwise i get rid of it by pressing delete than escape).

I know that isn't a big problem but i just want to know how to get rid of it.

My friend has slideshow backgrounds, but he's able to get rid of 'em just by doing things that i mentioned before in the brackets.

BTW I'm not sure if this is the right topic, so I'm sorry if it isn't.

I have tried Windows 7 Basic theme and it was with dots and my Aero theme was without dots.

I guess dotted and non-dotted versions are both normal and correct, might be just for different types of themes.

    Thanks Bongo.
This seems to be working, but when i select files in WinRAR by dragging with my mouse i can't see the select box, because it's Focus Rectangle.

I don't know for you but WinRAR is the most common tool for me, it's the first program I install after Windows. I have the same problem with Pakscape, the select box is focus rectangle. LOL
