You may use this one instead ..... it is made by Nick !
EDIT : As the text is white, it appears to be merged with the background . Save it as png image, you will see the text and the logo only .

The psd file is attached (can also be opened with gimp, corel photopaint etc) which has all the transparent layers. Just remember to save your finished image as a png file before you upload it to the forums as this supports transparency
great! .thanks for your support guys.... i really appreciated it :) this is going to be a h3ll of training for me in PS5...i never thought PS5 and corel draw could be so much fun, i am stuck with autocad for so many years and this is new for me. if i didn't saw the gfx team works i wouldn't bother installing it.
Thank you for the information :)
I have finally made myself put a bit of time into learning this GFX stuff and thought I would share my first attempt.
I was fairly happy with the background and the addition of the 'Seven Forum' logo but couldn't quite get my head around how I would like the 'JDobbsy1987' text and not too happy with finished product so something to work on there :)
I threw the badges in for good measure
Suggestions are welcome

Great start Jamie.................
Just keep practicing and experimenting with backgrounds, borders and text.
Nick was spot on when he recommended the trial versions of Adobe and Corel Draw Suite before you plunk down hard earned cash.
Check out their free tutorials along with a bunch of them done by Nick.
Just have fun!!!
After a little more playing I'm starting to think its not just software I need to get used to but i need to get my artistic head on too
I can think of all sorts at times but as soon as I open the software my mind goes blank
last attempt before bed
Tried to get by without the tutorials this time...
