No. My idea is to have the 4 sides blend into the background, as if fog is covering the 4 sides.

Stupid me, I lost the " product key " of Snagit, so I can't re-install it without having to pay $50 again, and I can't ask for the product key replacement because I changed ISP since then, and they won't accept my new e-mail address as proof of my legal holder of the product key.
Snagit has an option to blur the edges of the picture.

You can do the "vignette" effect with GIMP (which is free) using the "fuzzy border" filter

I can find Filters and Script-Fu, but no Fuzzy border ??
