You don't need Illustrator to make animated gifs pal you can do them with photopaint

    Britton,
I tried an animation for your avatar....shrugging shoulder's, blinking eyes, and raising the hands. Animation is out of my league. Too much cutting and pasting.
Have a friend who is a young whipper snapper that I can ask to do this.
So post the picture again and I will send it off to see if he has time to do it.

I think it has to be 99X99 px to work as an avatar.

Thanks, Dennis! They're as close to perfect as I could hope. There's a couple of things with the red and yellow but I won't bug you; you've done a great job. Thanks again. :)

    Great sigs, everyone :-D

Archie, since you mentioned reading some of Poe's works...Here you go - the raven (or crow...?) is a snapshot of my own. I was very lucky, the bird was sitting so quietly on the tree that I ran for the camera ;-D In Poe's poem "The Raven", the ominous bird is most appropriately perched on a bust of Pallas Athena... ;-)
    Very nice

I want to try it . Thanks a lot for faking it for me

The thunderbolt is done with adobe photoshop . It is not that tough, too ; but sometimes it requires image manipulation, I am not that good with it , just can do basic animations .

If you open it in adobe photoshop, with animation window opened (window > animation), I hope you will be able to understand the trick

Let me know it you want me to assist you !
