    Lost ability to download gagdets

    Hello,
Don't know how but it occurred two days ago. I lost a my Drive Meter. Have tried to upload it through gadgets and it continually shows the download box for an instant and then it disappears. Tried other gadgets with the same result. Any ideas? Thanks for any assistance.

    Hello Carolyn,
Thanks for your response. I ran it as instructed, and some deleted gadgets reappeared in the menu. But it still would not let me download using the Windows Gadget Downloader. I went to the site and downloaded it and got the save or add dialogue and it did install it. So I may just be confused, but something still may be wrong. Thanks again

Windows Gadget Downloader? The only option I have for downloading gadgets is via the web site.

Glenn, I to am unfamiliar with Windows Gadget Downloader? Is this a 3rd party program? Or are you speaking of the link to download more gadgets in the gadgets screen?

I'd try going to Turn windows features on or off, and unticking the Windows gadget platform, reboot, and retick WGP.

    Howdy A Guy,
Yes, that is what I mean. Takes you to a list, pick a subcategory (utilities) and find network drive meter, same ones who make the Network meter. Click download, momentarily a small yellow and white box appears to hit download, but before you can move it disappears. Didn't used to do that.....
