    Help making taskbar like Vista's taskbar


    Ive been using windows 7 for a few weeks and its driving me crazy, the way the Windows 7 taskbar is, I just want the old Windows Vista taskbar back.

    I spent hours searching windows Vista themes on windows 7 but none of them change the way the taskbar operates. Not looking for a theme just Vista's Taskbar.

    To be more specific the main things disturbing me about windows 7's taskbar:

    -Explorers Quick Launch Icon dissapearing and morphing into the actual Browser's tab.

    -Cant disable the show desktop button

    Use the tutorial below to remove the "Show Desktop" button, but it will still leave a blank space there instead.

Done a few searches and can't find anything that relates to the problem I'm having. So every time I play SWTOR and try to alt-tab out to check a website or something my taskbar gets moved 2-3 inch from the bottom of the screen leaving just a blank space at the bottom with my desktop picture on it....

Hi, I want to know is it possible to Iconize only some programs while others not? E.G. i wish to keep WMP always in small icon to save space while Explorer in full mode. Any comments appericiated.
Is there a way in Windows 7 to make the taskbar show which windows are open, like XP and Vista all the time? I like the XP task bar better because it easier to see which windows (and how many windows) are open. This picture might help better illustrate what I am talking about. ...
