how can I stop " - Shortcut" tagging on shortcuts

    how can I stop " - Shortcut" tagging on shortcuts


    title about says it all...
    you make a shortcut, and it tags " - Shortcut" after the filetype.
    I have no need for that whatsoever, and it's a hassle to have to remove it from scores of files (I don't know of a file renamer program that can batch rename/remove text that comes after a file extension)

    can this behavior be stopped?

    The tutorial below can help show you how to stop the "Shortcut" name prefix from being added to new shortcuts. Unfortunately, it only applies to new ones, and not for already existing shortcuts.
