In Windows 7 you have to use the canonical () name for each applet you wish to hide.

Example:

Action Center Microsoft.ActionCenter

Administrative Tools Microsoft.AdministrativeTools

Hello Fimble,

It will work using either the canonical name, or just entering the name exactly as it appears in Control Panel icons view. I just found it easier to reference the Control Panel instead.
