    Programs that keep windows from overlapping a certain spot.. ?


    Sorry about the bad title, I don't know what to call it.

    I am looking for a program that will keep my open windows from overlapping for instance the far left of my desktop, kind of like the taskbar, you can't make windows overlap the taskbar when it's not on auto-hide.. I hope you understand :P

    I saw a program like it a while ago, but I didn't download it as I didn't need it back then.
    Just in case you were wondering, I am going to use it so it won't overlap my rocketdock. :3

    I also hang out at donation coder, but I host my own software. Mouser's program is more complex than my stuff. I have some simple utilities to set the desktop work area. Take a look in the Free Great Programs thread:

    Also I have a hotkey to toggle the Topmost attribute of the active window. You can download here Search for Topmost Toggle.

Dead spot moving open windows

I have just noticed that I have a dead spot on the title bar where, when I click and drag the window does not drag and the cursor moves on it own. It is just to the left of the minimise/maximise/full screen buttons on the upper right of the window. and extends about half the length of the search...
